Other projects

My main project at the moment is the free and open-source localmusic project, which is a easy-to-host platform for connecting a local music scene. It's currently live in the pilot instance at ChicagoLocalMusic.net. It's one email a week with all the shows from bands you follow and a few from bands you don't; check out the features page for more info.

With my chevruta, I made eitz-harabanim.com, a "family tree" showing the teacher-student relationships among Rabbis in the Talmud.

I was formerly a practicing physicist and have some papers published that I'm proud of.
